About the Live Long podcast

What does it really mean to live a long life — and more importantly, to live it well?

Now in its tenth year, with more than 300 episodes since launching in 2017, Live Long has become an established voice in the global conversation about how we live — and how we live well.

The Live Long podcast is a series of in-depth, one-to-one conversations exploring not just the science of aging, but the art of living. Hosted by Peter Bowes, the show brings together a wide range of voices — from scientists and medical experts to creators, thinkers, and storytellers — each offering a perspective on how we make the most of our time.

At its core, this is a podcast about longevity in its fullest sense.

We explore the science of health and vitality — how we can extend our healthspan and stay physically and mentally well. But the conversation doesn’t stop there. It extends into purpose and reinvention, relationships and community, creativity and curiosity — the many ways we continue to grow and evolve throughout life.

Because living longer isn’t just about adding years — it’s about what those years can hold.

Alongside leading experts, we hear from people putting these ideas into practice — navigating change, pursuing passions, and redefining what it means to thrive at every stage of life.

There are no fixed timelines. No preconceived notions about age.

Just a shared curiosity about how to live fully — and a belief that longevity is as much about how we live as how long we live.

We always welcome your thoughts and suggestions. If there’s a voice, a story, or a question you’d like us to explore, let us know — your input helps shape the conversation.

Guest pitches

Want to be a guest on the Live Long Podcast?

We’re always looking for thoughtful, engaging voices.

If you have a perspective on what it means to live well — or represent someone whose story could inspire or inform — we’d love to hear from you.

Our guests come from a wide range of fields — from science and medicine to the arts, design, fashion, music, film, business, and beyond. What matters most is insight, originality, and the ability to connect with a broad audience.

We’re especially interested in:

People with something to say
Original ideas, lived experience, or a distinctive point of view.

Compelling storytellers
Clear, engaging communicators who can bring depth without jargon.

Voices across disciplines
From researchers to artists — we’re interested in longevity in all its forms.

A wider perspective
Health and vitality matter, but so do purpose, connection, creativity, and environment.

Forward-looking ideas
Perspectives that expand how we think about time, aging, and possibility.

Real lives, real experience
Stories that reflect growth, change, and contribution at every stage of life.

Above all, we value curiosity, openness, and a willingness to explore what it really means to live fully.

If that sounds like you — or someone you represent — we’d be delighted to connect.

If this sounds like a fit, please get in touch.

These conversations are editorial in tone — focused on ideas, context, and the thinking behind what you do, rather than promotion alone.
